Limonium is feathery-looking, consisting of hundreds of tiny florets which are evenly spread throughout multi-branched stems. The foliage is light green and small.

Limonium is typically used as a filler flower, adding fullness and elegance to arrangements. Beltlaard, is a cross between the Caspia and Latifolia species of Limonium and prefers the cool, dry atmosphere of Ecuador. All of Esmeralda's Limonium varieties are greenhouse-grown, year-round.
