Trachelium Caeruleum originates from the Mediterranean and is available from Esmeralda in vibrant green and shades of blue and white. The oval, pointed leaves have slightly toothed edges and are pale green in color. The small, funnel-shaped flowers are clustered into flat, panicle-like inflorescences at the tips of a flower stalk that can be over 32 inches (80 cm) long. This flower is perfect for bouquets and arrangements and is commonly used as a filler. Esmeralda's Trachelium is grown year-round in Ecuador.
